Client File & Content Policy
1. Ownership and Usage Rights
The Client retains all ownership and intellectual property rights to the raw footage provided to CreatorCuts. Upon final payment and project delivery, CreatorCuts grants the Client an exclusive, perpetual, and royalty-free license to use, distribute, and monetize the final edited content across all platforms. CreatorCuts may use snippets of edited work for portfolio and marketing purposes unless the Client explicitly requests otherwise via Team@CreatorCuts.com.
2. File Storage and Retention
CreatorCuts provides a dedicated Google Drive folder for each project. Raw footage must be uploaded to this Folder by the Client. We maintain project files and raw footage for a period of thirty (30) days following the delivery of the final edit. After this period, CreatorCuts reserves the right to delete these files to manage server capacity. Clients are strongly encouraged to maintain their own backups of all delivered assets and raw content.
3. Content Restrictions
Project footage must not contain content that is illegal, hateful, or violates the terms of service of major hosting platforms. CreatorCuts reserves the right to refuse service or terminate production on any project that contains prohibited material. In such cases, a partial refund may be issued at the discretion of Support@CreatorCuts.com based on the progress of production already completed.
4. Confidentiality and Security
CreatorCuts treats all Client footage as highly confidential. Access to provided Drive folders is limited to our internal management team and the technical editors assigned to your project. We do not share raw footage or project instructions with third parties without prior written consent. For security inquiries or to update access permissions, please contact Support@CreatorCuts.com.
